1911
The first census recording the houses was taken in 1911, so these were probably the first tenants of the house.
- Harold Bailey, head, 30, press tool setter in the sheet metal trade, born Birmingham.
- Rose Elizabeth Bailey, wife, 28, none, born Birmingham.
- Harold Keir Bailey, son, 3, none, born Handsworth.
- Ruth Bailey, daughter, 8 months, none, born Kings Norton.
Harold Bailey's older brothers, William and Herbert Andrew, lived at number 51 and 32 respectively, at the time of the 1911 census. All three were sons of George Bailey (see here). In 1925, Harold and Rose Elizabeth Bailey lived at 38 Hawthorne Road.
