1911
The first census recording the houses was taken in 1911, so these were probably the first tenants of the house.
- Ethel Gray Castle, head, 26, ---, (husband abroad), born Grimsby in Lincolnshire.
- Bertha Claridge, visitor, 33, none, (sick) born Hull in Yorkshire.
It seems that the Castle's had moved out by 1916 because:
1916-1919
From October 1916 to April 1919 Annie Bennett was resident at 25 Kingsley Road, who was a British Red Cross volunteer working at Highbury Hospital in Moseley during World War I. Her rank was 'Commandant' and her role was described as: 'Organisation of workers - Admninistration'.
