- Harold Godfrey Higley, son, 3, ---, born Kings Norton.
1916-1919
Between October 1916 and March 1919 the Higley family still resided at 10 Hawthorne Road as Elizabeth Higley was a British Red Cross volunteer working at Highbury Hospital in Moseley during World War I. Her role was described as: 'Supply of comforts for Stirchley - Occasional housemaids duty at Highbury'.
