1911
The first census recording the houses was taken in 1911, so these were probably the first tenants of the house.
- Benjamin Howell Clarke, head, 39, block colour label printer, born Birmingham.
- Eliza Clarke, wife, 32, ---, born Birmingham.
- Reginald Howell Clarke, son, 7, ---, born Birmingham.
- Leslie Arthur Clarke, son, 6, ---, born Aston.
- Norman George Clarke, son, 2, ---, born Handsworth.
1912
In 1912 the Clarke family sailed to Boston in the USA. They were perhaps encouraged by their next-door neighbour at 39 Kingsley Road, Mary Jones, who was born in Boston.
