1911
The first census recording the houses was taken in 1911, so these were probably the first tenants of the house.
- Henry Pane, head, 62, commercial traveller (steel tubes), born Aston Manor.
- Elizabeth Goodman Pane, wife, 66, ---, born Aston Manor.
- Mabel Lizzie Pane, dau, 29, school mistress, born Aston Manor.
- Harold Wallis Pane, son, 23, draughtsman, born Erdington in Aston.
1918
On the 1918 absent voters list, the following usual resident of 34 Kingsley Road was:
Harold Wallis Pane (360125 Sapper, RE). Harold served in France and survived the war.
Mabel Lizzie Pane, or Miss. Pane as she was known to the local children, was school mistress at the school at Woodlands Park Hall up until at least the 1940s, and she lived at 34 Kingsley Road until about 1957. Her older sister, Mrs. Blanchard (nee Elsie Mary Pane), also taught at the school and lived at 18 Kingsley Road with her husband and family.
